Contest $30 Logo/Header Contest (Jan 1st Final Day)

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to have a logo/header created for my blog, which is going to be based around helping others stop smoking. The winner will receive $30 via PayPal. The final decision will be made on Jan 1st.

I would prefer the background of the logo/header to be transparent so that the themes coloration will show through. The text should fit the theme, and it can be a similar size to the placeholder, or it can be bigger. Current size is 202x58 but I'm very flexible here. Don't want the height TO much higher than that though, unless I'm really blown away by what you throw at me.

I would like to see some imagery or visuals that shows that the blog relates to smoking/stopping smoking. If you like you can include the phrase "How to Stop Smoking" (like my title) or "You can stop smoking too!". The MAIN text on the logo should be "Killing the Habit".

Hey there i would like to join this contest, yeah as the previous person said is there a specific size, and when im finish should i just upload the logo?

 

The current logo/header is 202x58. Feel free to go wider or taller though. Basically I have no preference in relation to size. Get creative! =)

And yes, just post it here (add watermarks of course. )

Sorry for not being more specific guys. I want the focus of the logo to be "Killing the Habit" which is the name of the blog. I was just leaving it up to you whether you wanted to add "How to Stop Smoking" or "You can stop smoking too!"

"Killing the Habit" should be the focus of the logos. Also would like to stick with the colors currently present on the theme (bluish).

Here is my second go at your logo. I made the logo this time, based upon the Microsoft Clip art image I previously used.

I like the direction you're going here. The pink doesn't really fit the theme on the site though. Also, do you think the black will show up on the background? Might wanna go with more silver there.. The blue on the site and a silver might be neat..

 

I'm really liking the direction you're going here Jordan. If we could get that blue to match more of what's going on in the current theme on the site (possibly with a metalic polished look) I'd like to see how that came out. Really liking it though.

Definitely like this more than your previous one. I'd like to see this with a metalic silver in place of the black, and a more metalic shine to the blue, if possible. Liking it so far!
