Hi, I have a blog which i am hosting with blogger.com, but with my own domain name, blog gets more than 30000-40000 Unique Visits. I have heard a lot about blogger deleting blogs having huge traffic. I am concerned will they delete my blog as well, should i host it on my own servers? if yes how to do that, please direct >> Thanks!
lol, that never happens blogger wont delete your blog. 30000-40000 Unique Visits(per month) if you are getting these many visitors your blog will be ranked as p4-p5 and you would have plenty of knowledge on this.and you are just lying over here.i checked your blogs stats and your blogs is just a page rank 1 . are you doing this to get visitors from dp???
No but they will delete it for trademark infringement. Which blog are you talking about? Because if it is one of the ones in your sig, you have to be kidding. There is no way that you are getting that kind of traffic unless you are linking to or giving away copywritten or illegal material.
Who told you that if a blog gets more than 30000-40000 UV per month will be PR 3-4 or so? and mine is not getting 30000 UV per month, its per day, and that blog is PR0!! My signature doesn't have any blog! And i dn't want visitors from DP. P.S (U R Funny) I read it couple of times on some blogs, and in some forums as well, so ws worried. Why don't you just host it yourself and then you don't have to worry about it? Why build traffic on a website that you don't own, or someone else's servers?
I never heard about this... But I don't think so. Blogger earns if you have a site with 40K visitors and you included Adsense... So, I think there is no reason to think that your blog will be deleted. Neverthelss, you must always backup your content.
W hy didn't you read in at that post! The blog has deleted, may contain things that blogger consider as spam so they deleted it. would like to know/see your blog what does it has that you publishing and worrying about.
blogger will not delete your blog but if u use sum bad SEO tactics then google can ban your blog from appearing in the search engine results.. it happen once to a blogspot that was ranked 1 for "make money online" but now its banned by google but i havent heard of a blog getting deleted due large amounts of traffic

Who knows what they are going to do.Maybe they will delete ir or maybe not.There's always rats in everywhere , so if that rat see's your blog who knows what that rat can do. Maybe your blog will be marked as a spam even if its not a spam and they won't unlock it after it, so who knows... But i think its true that they locking blogs with heavy traffic, because i had one blog for almost a year and it was all ok till i reached more than 2k Unique per day and soon enough i got message that it was locked for spam and bla bla bla... And many more people out there had the same bulls*** .Just search and you will find thousands of complains about this and other stuff. Shame on blogger...
Problem will be solved if you move to other space where you can host your blog. Example: wordpress or buy host space and host your blog.I don't think domain means something as long as you host your blog on blogger. Actually i don't know why blogger doing bull*** like this...Its google after all, so i think they should want that people would be saying about them " Oh now that's a great company" , in steed of saying " What a bunch of *****" . I am really disappointed with them and many people out there could say the same... EDIT: always make a backup of your blog and its at least something good and you can be safe at least that you won't lose everything you posted.If they lock your blog, you just lose name of it if you have a backup.So after that you can move to wordpress instantly. Of course all backlinks will be gone, so i won't recommend to make lots of backlinks for blogger blogs.
i download and save my backup from time to time.but i want to know that if what will happen to all the posts that i wrote?will it be gone if google locks or deletes the blog Another fraud that google is doing is banning peoples adsense (Especially blogger) once they reach $50+ and after they send the pin number,after some days the ads are removed and the account is locked with no reason whatsoever. i have seen this happen with so many of them
I have plenty of space where i can host my blog, but i don't know how to do it, earlier blogger had FTP access! Now its tough! You might loose that traffic as well!
honestly speaking I've heard that Google deletes blogger blogs without notifying the owners. Your blog may be on risk.
but i believe there must be some benefit as your site host with blogger. perhaps a better appearance in search result?
