Can someone clarify or point me in the direction of a resource which goes over how you'd optimize a site that is Macromedia Flash-based? Sure they (usually) are prettier but I don't understand how you'd place all the right information inside the site that make a search engine read it the way it would an HTML site. Maybe it's a noob question, but I've been wondering for a while...
First, it is advisable to create a HTML site with embedded Flash and not a totally Flash site. There is no way to optimize a 100% Flash driven site without creating another HTML version of the site. You may want to read the following articles for more info: http://www.seochat.com/c/a/Search-E.../Optimize-Your-Flash-Site-for-Search-Engines/ http://www.useseo.com/optimizeflash.php Hope it helps
