    This is designed so that your files are shared further by users, which helps increase earnings. We're not the only host who does this.

    but i dont like it that much.. i just got low sales yesterday and was wondering what went wrong. most people will just cancel their membership after 24 hours as they can just get the files they need by then. it wont benefit affiliates like me, at all. please remove this one day offer :(

    The trial was online for only 15 minute yesterday, so this is not the reason for your decreased sales. Also, the trial has increased the number of sales, not decreased them. The questions is whether it will increase the total dollar amount, which we believe it will. So far, most users do not cancel, as they try our service and seem to like it.

    Also, think about it this way: your earnings are a percentage of our sales. FileSonic is obviously not going to choose a strategy that lowers it's sales; therefore, it will not choose a strategy that will decrease your earnings. Have faith in us! :)

    I have been unable to download from
    FileSonic for over three months until now.

    This occurs in Micro$haft Internet Exploder,
    Mozilla FireFox, and Opera

    The above two posts led to the answer to why.
    First,
    TY ThinkBigger for the hints.

    Second,
    I use my HOSTS file still to block needless bandwidth,
    and basic AV-Whore installers, etc.
    Here is what helped me,
    I hope this helps others.


    Needed:
    GoogleAPIs.com

    NOT needed:
    www.GoogleAPIs.com
    .www.GoogleAPIs.com
    Ajax.GoogleAPIs.com
    .Ajax.GoogleAPIs.com

    Note to FireFox users,
    You need to select to work offline,
    then fail a connection to somewhere,
    then uncheck work offline (File menu)
    to acknowledge HOST file updates...



    The clue is this:
    If you scroll down to click
    ''Slow Download''
    and you DON'T see the bargraph below the button
    ''Estimated Download Time''
    your missing the Google API script.

    Your still screwed if the file is over 400MB...


    One question ThinkBigger,
    I understand the need for both the FileSonic and GoogleAPI,
    but what exactly did you mean by the ''Google'' script entry exactly?

    That answers my primary concern. I saw problems if affiliates received credit for the one day sale and then lost out on the extension. Thanks for the clarification, Hish.

    ??? This I still don't understand. I noticed the new trial yesterday morning by accident while doing some other work. It was still ongoing 12-13hrs later when I answered the $0.60 question and checking now, the promo is still available. This seems to be longer than 15 minutes in my estimation.

    On follow-up, is FileSonic doing re-bills on all accounts now or just after the one day trials? I ask primarily b/c I saw a complaint on another forum regarding recurring payments and held off answering due to the fuzziness of the issue right now. Thanks.

    Perhaps this was when my tech team was testing the system. But, officially, the first trial came in at 23:45 on 2010-12-22.

    We've been carrying out some test on monetization and will continue to do so for a while, but nothing is finalized yet! Of course, the ultimate aim is to optimize everyone's earnings. As you probably know by now, we're always on the move, towards the better. :)

    Hello. I'm having some trouble uploading since yesterday. whenever I try to upload with the browser uploader or with the new advanced upload option the upload just freezes at 1 or 2%, and then the browser freezes, I cannot do anything else, yesterday it was also using 100% of CPU usage.
    can anyone give a hand?? what's wrong?

    PS. Just tryed that and I'm still having the same problem...just had to CTR+Alt+Del the browser again.
