You should learn to find forums on your own.

By searching for "footprints" you can identify forums and then pull URLs and populate MozRank or PageRank of the root domain in a spreadsheet. Check for signature links and also label that in the spreadsheet. From there, find one or two good top authority forums and put all your efforts into making a user account there that earns respect.

Omgili also is a forums search engine. You can use this to identify forum sites as well.
