Some true Facts about shared webhosting

i just saw a footer link in your post that says unlimited bandwidth ?

so what about that ?
I know its a marketing policy but how you are limiting the resources ?

Please let us know ?
It will not create any trouble in your business and i think people are there who likes to know clearly about your TOS or business policy ..

PS: this is not a negative response what ever caisc says is true(as i believed )but the footer link made me curious to know actual facts ....

any way i was not talking about storage i was interested in bandwidth any way ..it was good that you explained about your hosting company ..

excellent information, good amount of space can still be understood, but unlimited amount or high amount of bandwidth, really has no sense, when a site use high bandwidth, it means itself, it will use high CPU resources, just two different terms, either way its same meaning without traffic, site will not use bandwidth, and if site use bandwidth than it will use cpu resources.

 

yes you can see that all dedicated server has limited bandwidth .Any way i have never used dedicated server .if anyone have experience with plex i would like to dis ciss with him/her ..

There is no such a thing " unlimited web hosting ". Everybody is limited at the end!

Is like you buy a hard disk of 100 Gb for ex. and you want to store 1 TB on.

 

But why will the company say unlimited at the first place .

 

It's a gimmick to get you to by their services. Most people off the street don't realize that such a thing isn't possible. They see the "unlimited everything" and think Wow! That must be amazing hosting. Unfortunately, the opposite is usually true.

 

Yeah that's true but they don't have to trick people to buy their product .

 

Actually, a lot of them do indeed have to trick people.

 

I run a smaller hosting company still in the early stages at the moment its roots are planted but still growing, and I handle all my clients as actual people and do my best to answer their almost always unique issues with out generic answers or predefined solutions. I dont offer unlimited Bandwidth or Disk space as it is as alot of you say not real I agree with that statement and I do think alot of people are actually coming to terms with this. I have used several Hosts in the past that have offered Unlimited everything and have had my sites suspended temporarily and have contacted them about it they always have promptly removed the suspension for me and gave me a reasonable answer as to why this happened as you mentioned unlimited is not real but can be made to appear real.
