    Why Mark Zuckerberg invested in the New Social Network Diaspora - IMHO...

    I believe it was a publicity stunt.....

    I don't think he cares if it does well...it's getting him and facebook free press./publicity... Facebook is trying to takeover the internet just like Google is trying to do...

    Their both doin a good job at it..

    Publicity for sure. There's absolutely no reason for him to really care about the movie whether it makes it or not.
    At least there is a movie about FB, kinda mark it on history lane.

    SO if you have an interesting story about your site, try to sell it to producers.

    Diaspora might be facebook competitor in the future. The website has not launch yet, but it has already 59k followers in twitter. :)

    According to mashable. Mark Zuckerberg is one of the donator to Diaspora project. :p

    Time will tell I think; it is not only publicity. You don't throw money for publicity reasons that mayl end up in a business investment that may backfire in the future.
