    Got this news from filefactory page

    Lost Files

    On the 22nd of December, one of our download servers (ff07d03.filefactory.com) suffered a catastrophic hardware failure which, despite our best efforts, has caused some data loss. If you are reading this page and see files listed below, these files have unfortunately been lost due to this issue, and will need to be re-uploaded as they are unrecoverable.

    We take matters like this very seriously, and although we have several layers of protection in place to prevent this from happening (both software and hardware), due to a freak coincidence, our preventative measures were not sufficient to prevent data loss in this case.

    On a somewhat technical level, here is what happened. Our servers are set up with redundant hard drives in each array which can take over in the event that one of the regular hard drives fails. In this case though, not only did a regular drive fail, but the spare failed as well - which prevented us from accessing any of the other data on the remaining drives in the array because they relied on at least one of those other drives being functional. On top of this redundancy, we also split our larger arrays into smaller segments, each of which is able to sustain a single drive fail at any given time - but it just so happened that both of these drive failures were on the same array segment.

    Moving forward from this, we will be rethinking our storage strategy and coming up with more redundant solutions for our members. We will be improving our monitoring system to try to detect these sort of errors before they reach the point of failure, and we will, of course, be verifying the integrity of all of our existing drives immediatley.

    We have extended all Premium accounts affected by this issue by 3 months as a token of apology - we know that this does not restore your data, but we hope that it goes a small way in showing you how sorry we are that we were unable to prevent this failure from occurring.

    when i tried to download those files i get this message from a downloader point of view
