Well, I was just browsing through the "Content Creation" section to see the kind of orders pouring in. Some of the replies really blew my mind. I was wondering, if buyers really hope to be chosen for writing assignment with such replies (below). i'm dying to take your order Thanks ------------------ Hello sir, I am interested in your job work --------------------------------------- hi i m interested check ur PM ---------------------------------- please contact me. I am the excellent speak English and writing.thanks --------------------- Couple of threads for reference from where these replies were copied word to word: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2036130 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2036395 I am not looking to disgrace anyone. Everybody has to start from somewhere. However, such one-liners can be a turn off for the sellers. (At least, I think so) Either fellow writers are ignoring this fact, or perhaps outsourcing their content. Anyways, I just thought of highlighting this. Hopefully, it benefits someone. P.S--- Opps…. Sentense should have been “Sentence†Indeed, a big blunder for such a thread. ..Lol…
Usally these kind of replies come from people who have less then 10 posts when you read the posts the are "i agree" "great advice thanks," basically copy paste garbage to make a post count. A wirter that has no website, no blog, 8 garbage copy paste posts and a throw away user name. So they have invested 7min into their writing career? then if they are motivated they might make it to the copywriter forum and make thread "How I make $50 for 1 article?" when that doesn't work they might make a thread "How I make $100 a day (give me $5 for the secret)" I don't think anyone really hires them but someone might sell them a trash ebook that claims to have "secrets" to make them rich or get them jobs. What amazes me is the DP has a never ending flow of them like a 3rd world street corner that never runs out of new people trying to grub money out of the forum and people that are trying to grub money out of the people trying to grub money.
Here are a few from the first couple of pages of the content creation section today. Edit- what is surprising to me is most of these people had iTraders. I guess people really do buy this stuff.
Not all iTraders mean that the service rendered was of good quality. Many such people have "friends" who may very well be getting paid for giving iTraders. I, myself have come across a person who had 30+ iTraders - almost all of which he'd got through giving away free review copy or when he reviewed free copies of eBooks!! When he (or she .. who knows) gave me a free review copy of an eBook, he asked me for an iTrader... I explained to him that I was against giving and taking iTraders in cases when no trade (and no exchange of money) had taken place. He pestered me and in the end, I relented. So, many of these people may be flaunting iTraders acquired through such means. Again, I do wonder who hires such people and how do such "writers" manage to make any money in the long term with such writing skills and such a poor way of presenting oneself!!
