    Nobody knows. But there are too many threads for this.
    I hope Google will make soon new public update, because it passed too much time till the previous one. Also they might change the strategy of PR in some way.

    Right, Google would update PR between the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 but no one knows the accurate date. :)

    I don't think google is going to update PR toolbar anymore. There is no reason why they should. The only benefit is to people selling links. The rankings are already updated daily, so nothing is going to change even if they change the toolbar ranking.

    I think PR updates will run in January. The reasoning is, people will be spending alot for christams shopping to there sites using google ads

    Come on folks, PLEASE realize PR is dead and there will NEVER be another PR update...

    Give me ONE good reason google needs a PR update. Google is doing just fine, Serp's are updating... The only use for PageRank is link sellers/buyers/traders, which google despises so why fuel that? The PR toolbar has no benefit to the regular google user...

    And if google still uses the PR for their algo's, they could easily have updated it many times since the last update that we know of... Maybe they just are not making them visible anymore?

    Cause: we'll be seeing something else coming to take over.. ex: Trust Rank in a whole new Yahoo! Toolbar or maybe a Bing kinda related thing and M$ be the first to take over :)
