They're both good. You should be using both of them to drive traffic. You will hear people saying that article marketing is dead. However, this is not true. Some articles get more traffic than others. You just need to be consistent with creating new articles that deliver value. I think ezinearticles is the best, but goarticles is pretty good as well. Write articles, and then focus on turning them into videos later on.
It is depend on your website type and audience. If your website is about variety, gossip or entertainment related then video marketing would work better. Otherwise article marketing would work in a different way. You can establish yourself as a professional in certain niche by doing proper article marketing.
Both are good way to increase traffic or business. Article marketing is best way for internet marketing or online business. But today, market is moving in video marketing.
Article marketing is certainly easier in order to get Google hits, but Video marketing will get you viral hits so it really depends on what you want to achieve. If you want rank 1 in Google for your keywords, then 90% articles are the way to go. If you simply want to cash in on a quick niche that's trending i.e. yoursuperstarnamehere sex video or something like that - video will get you the gold.
It depends on the market you want to reach or what you want to accomplish. Article Marketing tends to work better with search engines right now then video does
Use both! I find it works well to start with a great idea... Flesh the idea out into an easy to read article. After that, it will be easier to make a video because you have the basic structure already written. Both article marketing and video marketing works well, so why not use the best of both worlds? Once you have a great topic idea, turn that idea into many content formats and publish all of them.
Both method is good for getting targeted visitors to your site/blog & have also different strategy to utilize. Go with both method & see what works for you.
Both have their place... I wouldn't go with one over the other, I would use both if I had the time and resources.
Video marketing is the one you should go with. No tracking of typos or spelling mistakes. Easy to create than articles and generally videos get much more views than articles.

I agree with what most people are saying here, AbelPolo. You should go with both video and article marketing. They have different purposes for your marketing and will work best if done together. As a start, you can use TubeMogul for positioning your videos in front of a wider reach of audience and submit your articles to such directories as buzzle.com, goarticles.com and ezinearticles.com. We are doing both right now on top of other marketing methods and they have given us favorable results.
I think youtube produce more traffic then Article marketing. But Article marketing produce more quality traffic, that is the person that have money to spend to buy your product.
Use both methods and then just repurpose the content. Take that video and make it into an article and vice versa.
it depends on the type of customer you should reach out to. you should determine which aspect of the buying customer's consciousness you want to stimulate. your budget should also be a factor. the cheaper one is article marketing. video marketing would generally entail a cost which would definitely push your products' price a bit higher. but it reaches out to a wider market base. good luck on your endeavors
