Hi guys, New to the forum, some great information up here. I have been looking through domain names and i have not come across many that have f**k in the name. I realise there are problems with these such names as your advertising might be limited etc. Bu are there any real problems with using the F word?
yes , family filters , schools , works. I think at some places urls with the "F" Word can't be typed in the URL
A big no-no as far as I can see, you'd be massively restricting the amount of traffic you would get, just not worth the hassle IMHO.
It would be hard to get a domain like that listed in directories, or linked at all in some cases. Not only would the name put people off, but the word will trip loads of swear filters. So you wouldn't be able to post the link in a lot of forums, for instance.
Guy since you made a site that get's a user stuck at it & you can't close it until you Quit your browser You have to get Red Repped on this board daily?
Too true. I never got to the end of it. I just minimised that window and carried on working in a new one. Why would you do that?

Yep ... Oly the traffic is great as people keep forwarding emails to annoy their friends with the URL.
Annoying but funny A good idea could be developed to lead down different "Avenues so to speak" Depending on user input "Shame about the domain name" Good luck
