hmm, you can use keywords in your meta tags but I don't believe search engines look at it.

I have serval websites without good keywords and they have about 20.000 to 30.000 visitor's a day.
Linkbuilding and good content is the only key to succes. Keep that in minde

Keyword stuffing is bad. When I write an article (about 500 words) I always put my main keyword in the title, once in the first paragraph, once in the middle and once at the end.So, once per 100 words works best for me.Everything should flow naturally and you are writing for people and not for the search engines. The key to success with articles is really keyword research, great content and links pointing to the content.

Don't have idea how much keyword density we use in article and content according to me it does not matter what keyword density you used in your content or Article. Google only read what is the content is it valuable for the people or not it's related to services or not content should be informative. I have seen many websites which have not use any keyword density and have good visitors.

You can check keyword density here: http://www.webconfs.com/keyword-density-checker.php

I use http://textalyser.net/ to help me see my keyword/keyword phrase densities. The website is simple, but I guess it does the job for me.
As for keyword densities, there are a lot of different people with different opinions about it, but I try to stay about 2% in my article (but for the overall page it would be much higher because of the other places in your website that may have your keyword, eg navigation panel). Neverthesless, always remember to use your keyword once in the title, url (try), and first sentence/paragraph of your content.

repeating keyword in your articles i donot think helps much, you should have your main keyword in the title of your article or web page and then try to have other related keyword within the page, this way it make your content interesting and a quality one.

It is very simple use this formula to calculate the keyword density
No of keywords/total no of words *100
your keyword density is around 5 to 20%

Focusing on keyword density is bad idea. Just write article naturally without thinking about the keywords in it. For example, places like ezinearticles.com will only accept keywords density less than 2% to prevent people trying to target specific keywords.

Broadly speaking I tend to use no more than 30% of the article, with great success.
