Also the older your site is the better it will tend to do in searches if you keep updating the content

Thanks @Matt! Yes, I do agree that contacting the owner directly is a good option. Do you know how many links one should build over a period of one week. I am planning to generate about 100 links for one of my clients. Is that okay?

 

It won't help alone.
You need to have patience as SEO is not an overnight magic, needs time in months, sometimes even years..

Try to use a twitter then create a user exmaple twitter.com/seo_tips

like that... coz underscore acts like a space for better search engine results.

and then look for a feed niche article that is related and then feed it to your twitter.

Now on your profile put your website or your backlinks to your site or try also to change
your background image in twitter and put your website on it...

That's another way i do..

Or create other twitter and you will see the results..

 

I think if you use digg. reddit, facebook, twitter is best for getting huge traffic

I have heard that social bookmarking is a very powerful way to increase your traffic & get free back links. As I said in the post before this one I plan on social bookmarking in the future, but I have some other traffic methods that are turning out to be working really well right now for me. I just want to masteR those traffic generation methods then I can go from there.
