I've been running my current blog for 2 months and get ~150-200 visits a day. These are some things to keep in mind that have helped me. Is your content truly unique, or is it just regurgitating what someone else is writing about? Is your content useful? Are you active on Twitter daily? This includes retweeting your posts and other people's posts, and actively finding new people in your niche to follow. Do you engage with your readers by replying to every comment? Do you comment on tons of other blogs? Are you guest posting?
lots of traffic methods to use...create youtube videos, articles, profile links, press releases, social bookmarking, blog commenting, etc. i go to fiverr if i am feeling lazy.
