Hey I've just been testing out a niche and more than half the clicks last less than zero seconds.

This is after disabling the content network.

    Thats above average for adwords

the average user stays for a plank unit of time which is theoretically the shortest time interval measurable in the universe

Write to the click quality team and request a review. How many clicks are you getting this amount from?

Good to see another Aussie SEO! Brisbane can't seem to decide whether it wants to be cold or hot at the moment so it seems to have settled on "windy" :D Things are slowly heating up though ;)

Zero seconds? How is that possible? I'd definitely ask for a review from the Adwords team.

No, it's very common and very simple to explain! But I have to eat cake first...

    OK here goes.

Your log registers the first click on your website... Say 10:21 and 5 secs.

Next click gets logged at 10:21 and 25 seconds. Then they leave so they spent 20 seconds on your site.

Now, what if they leave right after landing? They click the ad, land on your page, read it and lcick back... The second click never gets logged because there is no second click so it goes down as 0 seconds.

I was once baffled by the mystery myself and was quite emberrassed to find it as easy as this.

It is still a problem though because obviously, your customers don't click on. So unless they click away via AdSense, you probably aren't making any money out of those 0 sec viewers.

Don't worry I'm still making way more money than I'm spending in this niche.
