From Tafsir Ibn Katheer on the verse:

Verse is talking about the hypocrites in Islam, not non-Muslims. Try again.

You're very naive menj. Atheists aren't blowing shit up in the name of religion. Atheists aren't executing doctors in the name of religion. Atheists are the most rational people who don't let fairy tales govern their lives.

Your "rats living in the gutter" comment shows just how sick and twisted your religion has made you.

Holy crap. Did I drink too much again? Have you come to the defense of Will Spencer at the expense of Menj's goofy posts?

Actually, if you read your posts. You go out of your way to defend people who kill in the name of religion (as long as it equals your own goals). Read the hezbollah v Israel situation. Your defense of the '83 marine barracks attacks, etc. So this is not quite true.

Well, atheists do have a religion that they follow and worship, and its called materialism, secularism and science. All mankind are by definition religio naturalis, there is no way a human on this planet could claim to have "no belief" in religion. No belief in organised religion, perhaps. But there will always be a prevailing religion he/she adopts in one form or another.

I don't recall mentioning anything about the 1983 Lebanese war and I do not wish to defend Hizbullah either but in the eyes of the general Lebanese populance who were recently bombed by Israeli fighters (courtesy of that delivery from the US of A), Hizbullah are regarded as heroes. And I think you should know why.

I never defended the marine attack, I questioned who carried it out. Reading comprehension isn't one of your strong points is it? :D
