    Yes, quality is more important than quantity..

    for eg. 10 backlinks from related site are more helpful than 100 backlinks from irrelevant sites.

    In my own experiences, quality would be more important for PR while quantity would be essential for SERP.

    I agree, if you want to rank well on google, then the quality is more important, if you want to rank well on yahoo then the quantity is the answer

    I always go with quality not quantity becoz I think 100 PR 1 LINK = 1 PR 5 LINK

    It's not always like that! and 100 PR 1 link is better than PR 5 link in SEO point of view
    and what if the PR 5 page have 500 outbound link?

    It is is simple if you want to acquire traffic coming from google Quality is always the king but if you intend to get more traffic coming from various search engines always go for quantity

    What do you mean Quality or Quantity SEO? There is either Quality SEO or bad seo that gets you nowhere.

    But if you are refering to links, than quality rules over quantity.
