Error to connet FTP when insalling new plugin or new theme

Hot this error "There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct." However i am able to login with same details by my FTP client.

Please help me how to resolve this issue...

 

Try to add a new ftp account and try using it. I have some similar problem before also and using a new ftp account fixed my issue.

 

I did but, nothing changes, the problem is still there. Please help me ,......

 

I used to have that problem when I was using PHP with FastCGI.
I had to get rid of FastCGI and it worked fine after that.

 

You mean i have to change my hosting i think....

 

I it means that you are either using the wrong information, or your host is blocking the connection. some hosts require you to submit safe IP addresses that are allowed to connect.
You need to take it up with them.

 

Not necessarily, try talking to your host maybe they know what exactly is causing it.

 

Ask your host to Synchronize Passwords. It will work for you.
