I rarely buy any traffic from exchanges for this site. I may have spent $20 total in the 11 months it has been open. Site is hosted on HostGator shared server and does fine (for now).

Take a look at the traffic spike from Feb - June. This is high season for arcades with kids getting near the end of school year and they slack off. (Actually this starts in January but I didnt open gamesfiend.com until Feb 1. Anyways, the site was first launched. I was hooked up with free credits from trade partners, bought $10 bucks in clicks from bannerflux.com and away she went.

gamesfiend.com is powered by the powerful and extremely user friendly Arcade Trade Script. Advanced traffic trading features, game plugs, etc. I have re-coded the default theme during the summer and has given this site a very good CTR and eCPM when traffic is flowing through. Unfortunately, other projects took precedence and gamesfiend.com was set on the back burner to run on its own, since roughly June. (no bought traffic or promotion of anykind)

Last week, I decided to point an ad that I usually run for my other arcades and it has bringing in an extra 200 or so UV a day (factoring in trades) so hence the spike in traffic AND Adsense in December. This ad is cheap, so cheap you'll laugh (Ill disclose this info to ONLY the buyer when site is sold so not to jeopardize this source of traffic). Way this month is looking gamesfiend.com should easily bring in $50-60.

Content (games) are easy as can be to publish on the site. I have 2 mods installed to help with this:

Gamesfeed - 1 click auto publisher from talkarcades.com
mochi games - 1 click auto publisher to publish individual games OR you can mass download with its JSON feeds.

This arcade is awesome and is a money maker. Only thing it needs is some attention and some bought traffic. I will disclose to the buyer How run this site, where to buy traffic, and helpful hints/tips in a small PDF file. Of course, buyer will also receive Site, content (games, thumbs, ads) and mysql database.

What's the traffic source.

 

Please re-read the post as I explain allready where traffic is from (look at screen shots, etc)

To better explain it to you, traffic comes from direct type in/search engine, (a secret source which will ONLY be reveled to buyer) and trades. I send a visitor to one arcade, that arcade owes me a visitor and sends me one back, that guy plays a game and gets sent out to another trade partner, who sends me a new visitor. You can effectively take 1 organic/direct/bought visitor and turn him into 2-3 or 4 NEW UNIQUE VISITORS. The trading is what makes this site software special and can make you a ton of money with alittle money to start.
