I have recently purchased a 160 GB Hard disk(internal). how i can check that Hard Disk is working good and properly or there is/are some faults. Please if there is any software to check this?

with the help of "Active Hard Disk Monitor Corporate v1.3.95" the status of my hdd is given in the followin image please tell me is my hdd is working good or not, is there some faults or not.
Wrong solution ! why should some one format hdd if there is some problem.it can be resolved in some other ways too.
Ok your hard disk's health status is 58% and there are some errors too.is your Hdd new or how old is it? my hdd is of Hitachi and its 3 1/2 years old still its working fine but the health status is 60%. If your hdd is new then take it to the service center and also show them this screen shot.may be they can help correcting if needed
