    Data scraping is a technique in which a computer program extracts data from human-readable output coming from another program.
    i.e. Data scrapping tool will analyse Graphical and interesting contents from other website and that can help to build a another site.
    Basically this can be used for setting up a price comparison into our website, where tool will search for different products available in market and collect they details.

    Can you break that down alittle more for me? What if I wanted to employ data scrapping technique to build one of my websites to have products to sell? Is that feasible using data scrapping or data mining which ever way you want to call it?

    You will have several data scrapping available in a market, with that you can able to build a website. Yes, there are several shopping website which were build with data scrapping tool. Such website will contain original pages link with content.

    Check with the vendor that you're 'scraping' from; many sites don't appreciate being scraped for content unless done with permission :)

    Ive been using data scraping from supplier websites. If you hire professional data scraper they can scrape things such as pricing, wholesale pricing, picture urls, discription and so on. My data scraper provided me scraped data in excel spreadsheet. I quickly filter out products that i dont whant to sell( too small profit margin, for example, or item price is too low, can filter it with few clicks in excel) and then uploaded it as feed to my website. This way i can list houndreds of thousands products with good profit margin to my website within few hours

    If you go with free tools means you don’t get that much efficient result.
    Customized scripting will give ultimate result.
