Absolutely. There's a bunch of free and pay software that are great.

In the free category, there is Wink. Another excellent one is Camstudio 2.0.
For camstudio, there is a video tutorial available to help teach you how to use it. It is available here:

    http://showmedo.com/videos/series?name=ScreencastingInWindows.

In the pay category, the one I use is Camtasia Studio. I believe there is also a trial version you can download for free. If you want to try this program, there are two tutorials I can recommend.

    All the best.

I use it for doing video tutorials. Mostly for my website, falafelboy.com. I put them on youtube as well. Haven't done too many, but I'm starting soon again!

    take care,

I use Adobe's Captivate. It's a very good software but the price now is
very expensive. I bought it years ago when it was much cheaper (before Macromedia acquired it).

Although it gives you the option to capture your screen movements live,
it works primary by taking screen captures of your screen while you work
thus, output smaller SWF files. It does not provide streaming though.

You can control the mouse separately. You can even change how your
mouse looks like. I find that useful.

Anyway, maybe something else you'd like to look at.
