looking for free methods preferably and maybe if this thread grows big enough, it can be like a resources/tutorial thread. i'd be happy to update it as I go along and telling people what I think/thought at each step etc if you'd like that. as I don't want to spend a lot, I know this will be a long term project and it will be months before I see any real traffic coming my way, but i'm okay with that. right now i'm building backlinks for free, posting my URLs in places, joining topsites, putting all my sites URLs on each other and that's going pretty well and will be an ongoing effort. i'm going to be offering free and paid services and will have pages on how people can help promote and grow the sites. i've got a main hub which all my sites stem from (it's a network and this is the network's main page) all my sites use 'pretty' URLs (made easy by wordpress!) any other tips? right now i'm more working on the backend of things for SEO rather than direct advertising, but i'd be up for that too, and free link exhange/banner exchange sites are more than welcome, as well as big lists of websites to use!
free traffic could be a goldmine for you, utilize them as much as you can. Article marketing could be the one of getting targeted traffic, what I'm doing everyday only by writing 2 quality article.
