Anyone here still using blog commenting to pull traffic from blog? Is this way still working? I've tried a few and I don't see any of the result. Any idea why? Please help. Thanks
Yes, most SEO Specialist are still using this kind of method. Blog comments are the lifeblood of a blog. Comments are what separates a blog from a static website. Blog commenting is a good way to promote your sites, but the most important thing is that your site must be attractive, or no one would like to visit your site.
I also feel that blog commenting may not be of much use for traffic, but it is very useful in getting backlinks, subject to ofcourse, if your comments are not deleted by the administrator of those blogs.
Always work for me such a great way to get targeted visitors. Before commenting check how popular that blog is. Most of the blog which one accept your comments automatically are spam blog.
Have you got approval comments? Use your site url with the comments body if you want traffic from blog comments.
1. Find blog related to your niche. 2. Find a post at that blog. 3. Add your comment about the topic. 4. Leave your website/blog link with comment. That's all.
I think this technique is old these day's blog commenting is only for getting back link not for traffic. Only you can get a niche back link just for commenting. It not a good way for generate traffic. but just if your topic interesting then we hope some traffic may be on your site. what do you think about this?
I am doing it for the Back-links. Traffic is a bonus. Also - traffic might be low, but if you leave quality comments you might get quality traffic.
I'm still doing blog commenting, but also do other backlinkling methods like blogposting,social bookmarking,profile links.
Links from blog commenting are pretty low value but in my opinion still worth doing it. Also consider commenting on big blogs even if they have nofollowed their comments. You won't get any link juice but if you manage to write an interesting, quirky comment, you might get some really good traffic. You didn't bother to read the original post, did you? LOL
I use blog commenting quite effectively, for the back links I post on ComLuv enabled blogs, you can use the search engine at com luv site. The trick is try and be the first person to leave a comment, then everyone visiting after that sees your comment, sign up for the rss feed by email preferably or us a free rss reader from google or feedly is kinda nice on the eyes. seems such a straightforward process, does it hold as much weight (or more) than other link building. I am avidly working on finding the best SEO tactics to work on, with the best ROI for my time spent.
If you think about wasting time in blogging without any process.. then you need to wait for a while as all you need to do is post the comments in other blog having the back-link consisting your site/blog link in signature so you can get more and more traffic.
its useful and old fashion i think. Lots of people already know this kind of technique. But its very effective though. Anyone can do this you master it. But you cannot put your site on rank 1 by just doing this alone with no other method to use.
