I'm sorry everyone, but I have to ask this just because I have started my youtube up again and have realized on guy/subscriber has gotten over 4,500 views on one of his vids in 6 days. And he just signed up. I know there are a lot of videos on how to optimize you video for keywords and so on and so forth, is there anyone who has a good method at doing this consistently? I can understand though, that this kind of information would cost me because I see it as a secret one would have spent quality time figuring out. Whatever information will be greatly appreciated!
If you monetize your video any of niche, will not convert well. Find an affiliate program related with your video theme & promote by leaving the link at description box.
4.5k is nothing in 6 days if you want earn something. I see viral videos get to 100k in just 1 week or less. You'll get lucky to get $2 for 5k views.
Backlinks and keywords are the name of the game. Target keywords that you can rank in google for and add the tags from related videos so you show up in the side panel. I use my own Bookmarking bot and various link building tools and services to throw a ton on High PR links at the video - for a keyword with 40k-60k searches a month that normally gets page one of google in a few weeks. This traffic also has a much, much higher rate of conversion than internal youtube traffic. People browsing the site just want vids to watch, people searching for buyer targeted keywords are obviously looking to buy and a vid review or ad for a product is something they will go for - especially if you can get a discount of some sort and link to it. I don't really get massive views from it, normally around 2-3k a month - but when each visitor is worth around 2-4c and a vid takes around 3-4 hours and $20 to link build then the profits start to add up.
just do everything correctly, from tags, keyword research using the youtube keyword tool, use a catchy headline with the keyword in the title and so on. You can do all that when you are logged in, and also experiment and test, change things if they don't work until you learn, it's not that difficult but it'll take a bit of patients and time. Good luck
