High traffic, low earnings

Hello. I have been long lurking this site, finally joined

Anyway, I have a website that gets 30,000 page views per day. The highest total Adsense I have earned so far for a whole day is $85, and the average is $70 per day. This seems really low for good traffic site, isn't it ?

Just let me know if you guys want to see the site, because I dont want to just post it. Some people are spam-cops, you know. So I wont post the link unless someone asks.

If you got 30000 visitors per day,than may be your ads is not place at correct place.

 

What is your CTR? Maybe because it is a low paying keyword but $70/day is a good money to me.

Common problems:

- Low Paying Keywords: For example, if you had a keyword as forex, you would most likely not get a high payout because everybody uses it. Selecting smaller used thus higher paying keywords (which are highly relevant to your niche) will prove to work.

- Misplaced ads: For example, placing ads far into the footer and having most of your main content in the body. for example blog posts, where you have main text and content which reveal the ads type, but the reader can not actually see the ad because they're reading and then click back before hitting the footer. Try placing ads more central but blended so it looks neat and tidy.

 

30k page views, not visitors.

ps: i have a new forum(2months old) with 1k uv/6k pv now, see google analytics pic. how can i get some ads money from that traffic? currently are $zero earning

 

$70 per day is quiet good but you can still improve that if you also conduct an experiment of ads on your site.

The CTR for this particular site averages at 2%

 

I doubt this site gets 30,000 page views per day :-/

If those are stats for your site, I'd say those earnings are pretty good assuming a CTR of 2% and over 10 cents per click for the niche it is.

 

i think your site don.t have a good page rank you should do some SEO OR Forum posts so you can get high page rank and also you should chose Right keywords so user will click on your ads and you will get high income its alo depend where are your ads are pleased on web page for more help you should cheek Google ad sense help.

30k per day with 2% CTR mean you are getting about 600 clicks
mean you are getting $0.1X CPC
That's an average earning, how much you are expected?

 

Wow, with 30k page views per day you should be rich already man. People having different problem I guess. Some guys, like me, having problem on getting that big amount of traffic, some other like you, having problem on converting the traffic

 

Earnings seems about right for adsense for low-mid paying keywords.

I would explore other ways to generate $.

Create email list and use for information / affiliate offers.

Link selling since your got pr3 and quite a lot of traffic. Sell links for 1/3/6 months.

Add relevant affiliate offers along your adsense ads.

 

It will depend on your niche. You might be targeting a very low CPC keyword. You'll need to check it on the Adwords Keyword Tool to get a rough idea of what the estimated CPC is for Adwords advertisers and figure it out from that.

 

Two things play a very important rule here: source of the traffic and your site's topic, I would suggest to do some SEO before starting any website designing
