Hi there, Basically, I've found a keyword with no competition at all on Google (#1 spot has 50 rubbish backlinks), and 150 thousand searches a month. The best monetisation method I can think of is Clickbank. There's only one product on there in that niche, but it's perfect. It has an average sale value of $27. Just wondering really, anyone got any tips on how to make this work, in a way where I can still rank on Google, cause I can't just redirect. Should I write a sales copy, just have a basic page? Also, anyone know any good templates? Thanks
Good find! Use a simple wordpress blog. Do a recommendation at the top and at the bottom, so no visitors miss out on your money-making link. Have a few pages on the blog to target related keywords and link to the main page with appropriate anchor text from those sub-pages. Then you got to build the same links. Boost your links in anyway you can. Just do some hard work! Maybe, you can share the keyword with someone and you two help each other out Good luck!
If there is no competition in Google, it pretty much does not matter what you do, as long as you do somthing.
Thanks kk, will do Got any template recommendations? Will do. And nah, I think I'll keep it to myself, I'm naturally competitive Cheers. Yeah, fair point, although I just don't wanna waste my time on something that has a massively lower payout to me. Whoops, sorry, I forgot that! However, exact is 23k, which is still decent. Plus, if I'm ranking for the short-tail, the long-tails should come fairly easily. Plus, I've registered some long tail domains. Mmm, but that's too reliant on someone else. Thanks though. Anyone else got any advice? Any template recommendations? Thanks!
Before you invest a lot in this niche, I recommend that you set up a free blogger blog and review the product then send some targeted traffic. If the product converts then you can step up your campaign. There's either two things happening right now since you found such a keyword: 1. Either you found a gold mine or 2. the keyword isn't a buyers keyword and so may not be profitable. Hopefully it's #1. good luck!
