    Hey Everyone!

I was looking to see if you guys can help me out and give me suggestions on how i can make my site better.

    Here it is: http://srt.im/

    Thanks in Adv

    Any comments are welcome :)

Also: i just added dofollow links to all the shortened links so if you'd like; just shorten your website link and you'll receive a back-link from my site (maybe more than one).

The design is nice and clean. The site is straight to the point. Keep in mind i haven't gone past the first page, though i'm finding it hard to find anything to improve on. Though what i can suggest is, maybe add a counter of current members. I'll let you know if i can think of anything else.

I can't exactly find anything bad about the site! It looks very professional and well laid out, easy on the eyes, and it is straight to the point.

    Hi,

Don't you think that it's very very simple designing and no any colors. It seems white and blue colors only like sites is not completely opened yet.

I just used the thing and didn't even notice that I got a shortened link way down the page from the input field. In fact, the only reason I found the shortened link was that I tried it again and the page got longer, causing the scroll bar to move a bit. Without that second try, I would have thought that the site failed somehow and would use bit.ly or something else that's already established.

Hmmm, I don't know. Why not choose a name like shortenlinks.org, that one is free and is more acurate (name of the site and its purpose).
With 4400 global monthly searches, 63 competitors and only 12 backlinks needed to get on Page 1 of Google I wonder why you choose this name?
To be honest, there is no connection between the name and the purpose of the site from my POV.

I understand what you are saying, i had gotten some requests and comments before about the links being displayed too low, i've moved it higher now. Thanks for the concern though. Every opinion counts.

Maybe because this is a shorter domain? Isnt that why someone would release a link shortening website? bit.ly / j.mp / is.gd have nothing related to shortening links in their name as well so i don't see where your point is.

The domain name is fine, you can't really shorten a URL with a long domain name.

    Does SEO ring a bell?
Point one in SEO, select a domain name with the keywords in it... That's my point...

Do the websites (bit.ly) (is.gd) (cli.gs) (j.mp) have the keywords in it? If its a link "SHORTENing" site i wouldnt give it a long domain name, it kind of defeats the purpose.

I would agree SEO would be easier with the keywords in the name. You could develop the site with that domain name. Though allow them to use the srt.im domain for shortening there URL's. Just have to point both domain names to the same server.
