I'm On Page One

Of google(#5 to be exact), i still don't see much of any traffic....any suggestions? i started this site last week, maybe it's still too new to tell?

you need to clarify what keyword your talking about and your site's url

 

The keyword might not be popular, therefore, searchers must not have found your website's link while searching in search engines,

If your site has only been up for one week and you are already on the first page, then the keyword is not very competitive and likely does not get many searches.

 

Have you checked how much on that keyword searches are a month?

 

If you went on 5th position after one week it means the competition and number of searches are low.

 

You should target a keyword of at least 100 searches a day, then you will see some traffic when you're on page one.

 

do you use googles keyword tool?

how many monthly searches does your keyword have?

anyone can rank #1 for keywords where only 10 or 20 people search for it monthly

 

Yea i used the kw tool, and my phrase catches about 12,100 monthly exacts, about 60,000 broad...im clueless lol
