    Hi

I have setup a WP blog but now need to make another language version ie. oursite.com/italian

I have copied the wordpress files and database over to the sub folder, renamed the database, pointed it to the new folder, changed the wp-config file but when going to the new site it comes up with wp-admin/install.php page.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong please?
    Thanks

Ok it seems to work better now. The site shows up but when you click a navigation link it sends you to the original site, even though when you hover over the link it says it will be going to the /italian/services page ?????

Goto PHPmyAdmin > STRUCTURE > WP_OPTIONS > change there to new link.

After doing that goto WP DASHBOARD > SETTING > and change the URL here too.

I believe it was just copied over. The tech guy then went into the database and changed the root url settings.

I believe that has already been done. Could it just be a cache issue?
