    Hello All,

I have been working on a lawyer website it was working pretty well till mid Nov on various business terms in Google.com. Its only after 2nd week I noticed that the keyword ranking have gone from top 10 to nowhere.

Website is still in the Google index (site:www.abc.com) and cached regularly. I have check the webmaster tools and back links details for any objectionable links; but not found any problem. All the back links are from similar niche websites.

In last week of Nov, I register a reconsideration request in Google and also received mail that they are reviewing my website but some how thing not going well for the website.

Your advice and suggestion would be highly appreciated..!!

    Thanks
    Faiz

You might gone into google sandbox for building so many backlinks within a short period of time or may have use some black hat techniques such as keyword stuffing, cloaking etc.. get backlinks from .gov or .edu sites or from squidoo, ezine, hubpages and ehow to rank it high in search engines and also to get it away from sandbox..

Could just be the Google dance....keep building links( the more authoritative the better).....your site could just come back stronger. Good luck.

Unfortunately, the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. The site is http://www.majormedicalhealth.com and it is health insurance related. I write all of my content and never farm out any of the work. I'm the one that does the directory submitting and article writing and I did nothing that was questionable. As you can see, for "Major Medical Health" I rank high- Number 1 for Yahoo and Bing and Google ignores me.

Needless to say, I am very sad this happened!

Search Engine Placed Rank Competing Pages First Url Found
    Google no n/a 16,700,000 n/a
    Yahoo! yes 1 0 http://www.majormedicalhealth.com/
    Bing yes 1 8,030,000 http://www.majormedicalhealth.com/

There was a google algorithm update recently, perhaps it has not favoured your strategies....
