Unique IP addresses?

Hostgator sells additional IP addresses for $2 a piece, but they aren't unique. Their sister company seohosting sells unique IP's, but at a higher price. What is the difference between the two?

    Thanks

    C class difference

    AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD

Seohosting is claiming to give you an ip with a different C class which is quiet difficult now a days :)

where as Hostgator offers an ip in which DDD will be reserved for you only :)

normally a shared ip is like that
    http://www.123.2.234.234/~user3/

hostgator offers the full ip to you only 123.2.234.234/

    Regards :)

I don't know much about the classes. I think they are part of the domain when resolved to numbers. Why is it difficult to get different C classes ? How can these different classes help you in your SEO ?
