You can increase traffic on your site by optimizing site for search engines like google, yahoo etc.

 

There are many things you can do, but here are are a list of things that you could consider:

Writing articles and linking them back to your website.

Video marketing on YouTube (if you don't want to be in front of a camera then you can do power point presentations)

Submit your website to business directories.

Make sure a link to your website is included on all communication (emails, forum signatures, social profiles, etc.)

Comment on blogs related to your niche and link back to your website

If you have any type of special deals or prices advertise them on social networks with a link to your website.

Give away free products such as reports, and make sure they link back to your website

You have to work hard or spend either time or money to be successful online. I can say that the best way to increase website traffic for a brief period of time is to write articles. Take advantage of it by providing a wealth of information to your visitors.

 

If there is a lot of content in your site but there is no link linking to your site
your site is a dead site, no one will ever see your site content, therefore your traffic won't grow

 

SEO your site, post relevant topics with interested titles on forums.. submit articles on good PR directories ,hope you will get traffic... you can also derive traffic on your site with mass mailing...

 

Just my two cents worth, but basically make sure all content you create ie. articles, blog posts etc all tie
or feed into your social media accounts so that it spreads your content automatically.

You could also buy a program that generates millions of emails and send mass emails to all of these with a text like:
" Hello sir! How are you? Please pay my website a visit and have a look around. I would appreciate some feedback as well"

Don't know if this is legal though but it will make you some money for sure.

 

it all goes down to hard work, the more you work on it the more traffic you'll have. I am sure you've already herd of all the strategies like, video's, articles, blog commenting, forum posting etc..
now all there is left is for you to do it.

 

First of all, it depends on what you're "selling". When you've got something that people want, they want to be friends with you. First ask yourself: why would people want to come and keep coming to my site? Or by the way, what is it that makes you keep going back to a particular site?
