No sir, I'm faulting Rumsfeld for selling two light water nuclear reactors to North Korea six years ago.

Then you didn't read the article very carefully and you don't understand what was actually happening.

Here is a guy who is based in Hong Kong who knows the 'inside track' on North Korea

MIKE CHINOY, EDGERTON FELLOW IN KOREAN SECURITY

    http://www.pacificcouncil.org/interior.aspx?pageID=Experts&subID=1&itemID=1

Whats more he has a track record in North Korea and he has the contacts, hopefully he will used as a source of information (by goverments etc)for this present developing Nuke Tests story

Would you care to explain to me what was actually happening then please?

Remember that Rummy will shake hands with anyone so long as he makes lots of money in doing so. :D

So you admit that facts don't matter?

You might take a trip back to 1994 to see which former presidents struck this deal. But, then, facts don't really matter, do they?

What do you fault Kim J for?

I love how people show that picture in an attempt to try to slander Don Rumsfeld for representing the United States Government.

We tried to make peace with Saddam -- for years.

Here's another photo of the same type:

And here's one whose intentions are less clearly honorable:

Which is much better than believing in outragous myths about the war on terror and Al-Qaida.

No problem, I found the site a while back and if you go to the main page it shows the latest Earthquakes in the world above magnitude 2.5

After I read this thread I checked if there was anything recorded and was surprised to see it at 4.2. If you enter the coordinates (41.294°N, 129.134°E) into Google Earth, the detail there is pretty good, it's a mountainous area, but no evidence of an explosion, either the pictures are from before the test or I don't know what to look for.

Interestingly the good detail is limited to the area of the coordinates and once you get away from the detonation site the detail is bad. Maybe Google sent their satellite to check it out:)

Rumsfeld only reprasents corruption, he does not reprasent anything else and has not done so for years.

He's a hawk, talks in riddles and would sell his own mother or a fiver. :p

I thought this thread was about N. Korea testing a nuke but I must admit, the American government is pretty impressive, I mean any time anything happens they are responsible somehow. They sure do get around.

Mate, just because I have a different view on people does not mean I am talking nonsense. We are all entitled to our own opinion, yours just happens to be completely different to mine because of the way you are conditioned.

I personally think Rumsfeld is a very very dangerous man, although he is nowhere near as dangerous as the "real" President of the USA, Dick Cheney.

Yes, I learnt that from the political forum here, just impressive the amount of work that must be involved to have a hand in everything. At least I'll sleep well knowing Kim Jong is not really in control of the nukes.
