You didn't fall for that downloader which was being spammed earlier in the week, did you?

Unfortunately, this is the dark side of FileSonic's success. Folk will now begin to attempt to hijack accounts as do with other filehosts. A couple rules of thumb:

• Do not use the same email or password as you have at FSN to log into any forums or groups where you post links.
• Do not use the same password for FileSonic and PayPal/AlertPay.

Glad to hear it was only an attempt and not a success.

3 files are missing...(the last i upload in that folder) but it isnt a problem if you can't find it... great work Thanks a lot

 

An additional tip: when you're remote uploading to another host from FileSonic, change your password first, and then change it back when you're done with the RU. The hosts out there are generally professional, but it's better to be safe than sorry; plus, you never know how much damage one disgruntled employee can do.

 

If you have the names of the files, just send them over!
