Why would yahoo not index a site in over a month?

    oops ... I MEANT GOOGLE

Affiliate blog with unique content, 4 pages.

This is what I did - I have about 20 backlinks, including ezines, yahoo answers, and some popular forum signatures.

-Used the auto backlink submitter to create entries(this was two weeks after it was created.
    -about 5 social bookmarks
    -Pinged it.
-submitted sitemaps to google, has analytics installed
-site crawled daily, but yet does not go into the index!

I'm just curious to avoid this in the future. I did research on the domain and I found that it was registered in the past(since 07, but left to expire), but there is no content in the wayback machine.

I feel weird now that people say their sites index in minutes...

Have an article at ezines and another directory. And about 30 bls. I have other sites that were indexed in a few days, some had even less content when they went in. They are in the google index.

I think there is more than meets the eye here...

How do people claim to get new thin sites indexed in hours? Is that a joke?
