Need help From SEO Expert

hi to all,

i have redesign my website about 1 months before. Before 1 months, it's pages indexed are 18. After redesign, it's indexed pages are decreasing to 4. i have all page name same as before. What's problem with site. i do a lot of work for indexing more pages, but it's not indexed. Tell me relevent answer..........................

 

When redesigning google start again the website indexing. Maybe you have just to wait.

 

It's around 1 months, i have www.xyz.com/aboutus/, i have done a lot of work on these page to index, so it's link generation in yahoo are 120. then, it's not indexed.

 

It can be many things..but I wouldn't worry unless you just disappear completely.

 

I think you need to wait and just make sure your robots.txt are not preventing google bot to follow it.
Also try to bookmark those links and checkout that there are no issues in webmaster tools.

 

Why don't you send a post at webmaster tools forum on google to ask them too. But I think you have to wait. Maybe it's a google global server update. Before some month webmaster showed zero indexed to my site but on results everything was all right. Don't panic, I know the feeling.

 

Yes maybe google takes longer than this to update? How long was the site live before your redesign?

 

Google is just dancing with your website... Right now they are spinning it like a helicopter. lol...

Nothing to worry about... It will be back!

 

It's around 6 months

 

Have you had your link structure changed?? If your link structure is changed all your cached pages will be affected that follows the link. Anyway try to build more links to the home page and to the inner pages. Interconnect all the inner pages so that the bot actually crawls all of them..

I think this is a problem you should investigate first!

 

This is most likely the reason why you're pages are getting deindexed in Google. Misuse of the Canonical tag can lead to the destruction of everything you've worked for. Now that the said canonical tag exists on almost all pages of the website, Google will now consider inner pages with the said tag a duplicate version of the homepage.

You might also want to check your robots.txt file.

 

Website Redesigning will be affected Google Page ranking; reasons are followed:

• Change in navigation will affect.
• Change in title and H1 tags will affect.
• Changing the URLs might have an affect.
• Specially new pages that we have added during redesigning.
