Good example is Adobe, they didn't do so much effort to get PR10, they just serve something with quality..

It's really informative. Adobe Flash player is used by 98% of Internet users, which will generate a large number of backlinks to adobe.com. By the way, adobe's PR is 9 currently.
It is a lot more involved than the OP claims and although much of the OP information is useful - It is INCOMPLETE and folks who follow will not get listed as a Google News Feed Site! I have no knowledge of the OP and have no reason to advise other than I do not want people to spend time following the OP then not getting accepted on GN!
Is it because the theme like wordpress will overloard memory if your site is in google news? I heard Google News is not accepting anyone anymore because of overload of spammers who don't post quality news or well written articles. There was a story on this in CNET about some spamm site getting in google news spamming products sold by amazon. The only way you can get into GN now is by having a super high quality site (inside connections) or having a site over a year old that is already pretty high on page rank along with well written long original articles.
.com .net and .org are all 3 TLD's and are almost equally as good... beware of .info and .biz though.
