No, you can add more sites to your account. But you have to do that otherwise they won't pay you. And when you select your products for your links make sure you always choose the right site for the ads.

Yes, unfortunately, you can only place CJ ads on your listed sites but you can add unlimited sites without any refuse :)

Can you point out how you know that? Do they check the referrer to see if the click actually came from that site? I thought that was just for stats, so you can see which site is performing. If every click you sent had to have an http referer that just wouldn't be fair as these are often blocked for various reasons. I send links in emails, that's why I ask, and it's true they do not perform very well, so I would like to know if that is the reason, but I could not find any proof of that.

Oh and Nancy, the link for the word... ahem... is some sort of plugin they are running at DP that sends you to their ads section. It appeared a few months ago, think they are getting desperate to monetise the forum more :D

P.S. Here's a quote from the CJ FAQ - emphasis mine:

So how would they track the website in that case? They don't. My conclusion - you can put the links where you want, it will just skew your stats. Though I will happily be corrected on this.

well, CJ have invalid clicks section where you can see what is not valid. I have asked support a long time ago about this and what I got is what I said in my previous answer. Off course sharing link in Twitter and Facebook is fine but it still has some risks there :)

Would that necessarily show as an invalid link? The only links that usually show invalid for me are for offers that are no longer valid, or advertisers that have been deactivated (those are really annoying). I couldn't say for sure that a click not coming from the website specified comes up as invalid - I am inclined to think not, since I've sent plenty of those!

It is risky to do this as CJ will ask you provide evidence for traffic
