You make it by integrating your AdSense well and then building your traffic levels, and most of my income is from one site. As for how long it takes well that varies on how quick a learner you are and how much time and money you can invest. For most people that learn at a fairly average rate and invest an hour to two a day into their sites and don't spend any money it will probably takes months and months to get to $100/day if not over a year. If you are willing to do lots of research, read a diverse range of information, invest a bit of money here and there and spend 4 - 5 hours a day on your sites then you could be making $100/day in a mere couple of months.

or you can get lucky like some people I know who made sites that got random hits and made 20 dollars a day , from a proxy site with no advertising .. dam them...

or you can spend months writting unique content like I did only to realise someone else made a better site , with better content..

This is very inspiring as I make about the same EPC. I just need more traffic.

How much traffic do you get, Burta, to bring in 100+? I figure if I get the same amount of traffic I could do as well as you... :D

Thing is the traffic eventually leaves shitty sites, meaning that they have no long term value. I really don't think this whole online marketing game is getting any smaller, and with each passing year more and more businesses are investing in online marketing and I don't think that trend is in danger of slowing down a great deal in the near future, then it makes sense to be playing this game at least for the medium term if not the long term. Sure we are playing in a rapidly changing game but I think there is definitely at least 3 - 5 years of fairly secure online marketing years ahead (at bare minimum) and like any investment, the early investors always win in the long run. So whilst you may not be seeing the returns today, you have to remember that the pennies you can have today by taking the shortcuts are not worth the dollars you'll earn tomorrow by building a genuine asset.

It's great to see some people are getting something out of it.

I mentioned it earlier in the post but I'd estimate I'd get around the 8000 uniques a day, or there abouts.

sorry burta to hijack your thread

about a month ago, i had a great increase in traffic and clics on one site, and i got over the 100$/day barrier. on average, i was around 100$ a day, more or less, for a few days.
then, bam, smartpricing. traffic is still high, but revenues have fallen dramatically. it's the second time i'm smartpriced, but this time i have nice traffic so it's a pain.
the probable reason is, on one of the most seen page, there consistently was an ad which did not relate well to the page. it did relate to the keywords, however not to the mood -> those who clicked must have been disappointed -> smartpricing.
but now thanks to some tweaking the page this nasty ad has disappeared, but still for the past 2 weeks i still feel like i'm smartpriced.
should anyone has nice encouraging words for me, i'd take them thankfully :D

$100 American or Australian? Either way its a good amount and props to you for working, and achieving, that goal. I'm new at this and my goal, for now, is $1 a day.

great job. I had the goal of making ten dollars in a day and I hit that last week. Like you it felt good for a moment and you take it in and enjoy it. Soon after you stop looking at it and start looking ahead again. Now it is on to 15 and then 25 and so on and so forth.

Since Google reports in USD, I am sure his earnings are $100 USD rather than AUD.

Well congrats man, I hope you reach your second goal.

My goal is to get an average of $20 and I'm working hard to get there.

LOL way to crush my dream... :p. Just kidding. Yeah by the sounds of it I should expect this smartpricing to kick in over the next couple of days. I'll definitely keep you guys updated on how it goes.

Once again... way to crush my dream... :p. Surely I can't lose much more than 20 - 30% when my EPC is already so low?

Those earnings are USD, so that translates to around $130 - $135AUD, it is always sweet to know you get to come out with a few extra dollars just because of exchange rates.

Thanks, and keep working at your goals, if you are genuinely working hard at them it's just a matter of time before you achieve them.

Well done on the $100 mark. I only passed the $20 mark a little while ago, but since then I suspect smart pricing has kicked in and I'm lucky to hit over $15 a day.

Nice to see a few Aussies on the forum! I'm a little further north in New Farm at the mo.

I would love to hit $100 per day. It would be like someone working a job 9-5 and coming home and handing their pay over.... hmmmm I think im turning into a website pimp...
