3000 Impressions and 11 click = 1 cent???

Most of my visitors are from Turkey and i got infolinks in-text ads on my huge forum.

I know it would be less money if the traffic is coming from outside of US but Is it normal to make only 1 cent for 3000 impressions and 11 clicks???

 

Pretty low clickthru, maybe put your ads in more visible spaces or try playing with the colors

If your click through rate is that low I wouldn't even worry about ads.

You will never make any real money with a click through rate like that. Maybe you should contact whoever your ads are with, because I have never heard of a click through rate that low. That just isn't normal dude.
Hope you figure out how to get more for your click throughs. Maybe you should try placing someone elses ads on your page that give a higher click through rate.

Also maybe doing a google search on highest paying ads would prove to help.

What do u guys think about full page ads like adf.ly ?
Do they pay more?

 

Its a low clickthrough rate for sure, but have you considered the clicks may have came from Asian countries or other low paying countries? Full-page ads are good but they do "chase away" visitors. You may want to compare the before and after effects of full-page ads before actually implying them fully. Grab your stats from the previous moth / day imply the full-page ads then compare.

 

Its not an asian traffic but its a middle eastern traffic. I get %95 of the traffic from Turkey.
Does full-page ads pay better? Which company would u suggest?

 

no only you friend, almost every infolinks users with such experience. I got eCPM around $0.04, can u believe it? Just stop or switch somewhere else.

 

If your site get usa,uk and canada then you can get paid more.Asian and other countries wont get more money for you.

 

Here is my story with infolinks:

"i tried infolinks because you guys suggested here but no offense, infolinks are the worst out of in-text advertisement companies. First they approved me quick and i gave them 8600 impressions and 36 clicks. They gave me 3 cents. When i asked them what is wrong with the amount of money? they said "oh sorry. your site cant qualify for our service. because its on Turkish." i said well then why did you approve me at the first place?" thay said "we are sorry for the invonience. and you can have %100 of the money you earned" which was 3 cents!!! I appreciated for their offer and donated the money to them saying "i donate those 3 cents to your company so you can provide a better service and keep your words to the next customer"



anyways, i just figured out a new company which looks actually very good so far. www.linkworth.com
They have pretty much all types of ads and the content is well organized. You can reach them on the phone etc.

I ll give feedback about them also. Lets give it a try for lil while though."

The eCPM of infolinks is very low then you can't earn big money with them.

 

I have never looked for big. But 3 cents for 8600 impressions and 36 clicks is not even little

 

try to go with adbrite ... they are definitely better than this. I have had single clicks worth 25 cents too... Just try and see.
Nevertheless adsense offers maximum payout per click so always try to get that before anything else.

 

I already got adsense and im happy with it. But since they dont have in-text and in-picture ads, i had to look for other companies. Therefore i have been trying one by one. So far nobody is perfect but there are ok ones. Which countries traffic you get for that 25 cents cpc?

 

yes, if the content is in arabic/turkish then adsense is international but few other can have many advertizers in languages other than english. infolinks has french, spanish, german too.
I don't know, it's diffcult when you go out of adsense with some languages non europeans. like chinese, I'm sure infolinks can't cope with it too.

Man that is pretty low, I guess that is why everyone will tell you the only you are going to make any real money with adsense is if you have tons of traffic coming in on a regular bases. I'm fairly new to the whole adsense deal, but are most click through rates that low?

It is not easy to answer, but I think yes. average is 2-4 clicks per 1000 views, so the the results that you say 3000 imp. and 4 click is average. The question is how you
want to earn 1 cent for 3K impressions ? I know adf.ly, but I am not sure if them conditions will not be break

Also, too may ads on 1 site doesn't look too good. My favorite methods of monetization is adsense, amazon and clickbank

 

i feel it is very low rate . Need to plan some strategry to spread the network and get clicks from other european countries also.
