Well guyzz,my site[which was started on 2009 December]now has google backlinks like this 1 Backlink from a site which is having Pagerank 1 1 Backlink from a site which is having Pagerank 4 1 Backlink from a site which is having Pagerank 8 Total 3 backlinks[got this info when i chked my link:domain] so after Pagerank Update,can i expect atleast Pagerank 1???
First, if you only have three links you are nowhere. You need *many* more links. Second, the backlink from a PR8 site is irrelevant of it is a nofollow link. Third, even if it is DOFOLLOW, the "juice" that gets passed along is not that of the site, but rather of the page linking to you. You can have a PR8 site with many PR0 pages, and those are not much better than a normal PR0 site. The pages of a PR8 site in principle will increase in page rank quicker, because they will get at a certain moment in time links from higher-ranking pages. But unless you can get a direct link from the home page, the boost from the PR8 site will be minimal.
Very valid point. You really will have no PR benefit from that site unless you feature on the homepage. If you have back-links from the page with high PR, then there will be some PR passed on to your page and you can expect some PR juice to be derived from that page. As far as the number of back-links are concerned, to be at a particularly good level, 3 are not enough, though it is good start. Build more back-links and consider the pagerank of the page on which you have links live, rather than the homepage of that site.
i dont think just 3 backlinks matters anything. you need much much more try building forum profile links

Can you specify whether the backlink page is pr8 or the site? And what are the total number of backlinks to your site?
Only 3 backlinks are not gonna do anything you have to get more backlinks by doing more link building.
i have page rank 3 backling 220 (these 200 link from same site) page rank 4 bckling 200 ( this 200 from same site) and some other page ranks links 200 can i expect page rank while up-dation
