Whats the average rate for posts on website?

    Hello,

I am looking to hire a team of people to post on a new website, I want an approx of 5000 posts total on the site.

Content type would be *anything*, seriously - the website is basically a directory of lots of categories, you can choose whatever categories you want to post in and fire away.

I was wondering how much would it cost me roughly to get to 5000 posts with good content, the team can copy/paste content of the net, I don't mind it not being unique obviously.

You mean, you do NOT need unique content?
Just copy n paste the content into your site? :D

    Yup.

Since thats the nature of the website, you don't need to write unique articles for me or tutorials.

All you have to do is choose a category, some examples:

    Arts
    Automobiles and cars
    Comics
    Downloads
    E-Books
    Ecology
    Games
    Humor
    Images
    ...etc

So you can just easily get content online, funny images, latest popular movies (with thumbnails and links), funny jokes, and post it!

Ofcourse there will be some rules and limitations, and quality needs to be good (Properly formatted, no broken links, no broken english)

I don't want this service right now, I am just looking for a rough price so I can do some more research

    This job seems to need

    a) googling

    b) proof reading and fact checking( if required, depending on source)

    c) formatting ( if required)

    d) pasting and saving ( after logging in presumably)

    e) with the additional factor of the size of the average article ( larger article would make it an easier job for the same word count)

If you choose a good source, for example reputed sites like wikipedia, you can do away with step (b). So no reason why only writers can do this - you can get virtual assistants to do the job too. ( Its unimportant whether they are writers of VAs , but this just tells you where you should look for candidates).

For me, I could work for about $5 to $30, depending on those 4 steps and factor (e), I would assume.

Thanks vishals, you summed it up nicely.

As for your price, thats $5 to $30 per what?

Note: Size of post does not count, some posts may not even contain a single word, just images.. for example:

    Title: Funny images
    [~5-10 funny images posted]

Not really, the system is very easy to use.

It really depends on the person I hire and his online habbits or what can he dig out faster.

Can you tell me around what price am I looking at for 5000 posts now that you know more about it? (obviously not 5000 posts from one person, need a team)

No thank you, I am really looking for a team.

It is 5000 posts and I need multiple users registered and multiple categories filled. This is not a one mans job.

Okay - the job is not open yet. I am just doing research on how much it would cost.

How much would it cost me to hire you and your 2 friends for 5000 posts?
