Selling domains without paying to register them

Hello. Is there such a thing as a "free domain holding service" which you can use to claim your domain name free of charge before you sell it?

If not, I have plan B. Is there anybody who buys (unregistered) marketable domain names, and would pay me to disclose them (fixed price or based on appraisal), while registering them themselves?

    Thanks.

No, as far as I know, there aren't any.

The idea of registering a domain name is kind of inescapably that you own it first.

    No.

But you can resell domains as an affiliate.

So you have to pay to register a domain, prior to selling it, always. In that case, what is the cheapest way to register a domain privately, with no catches, such as completing offers?

Aside from affiliate domain selling, which you don't technically own, you can do what most everyone else does: buy a domain name (GoDaddy $11- cheaper with coupon) or otherwise acquire it (buy from another owner, auctions, etc). Private registration costs more at GoDaddy, and there are no offers or catches aside from annual renewal and need of hosting.

You're welcome to try some on me. I'm only interested in .com domains.
If I like any, I'll give you $5 for each one I register.
But, only good ones- no junk. No numbers, dashes, extra letters, words that don't match or concepts that don't make any sense- like "OutdoorLawyer.com".
And no highly-specific subjects like "lacrossballs.com" or "BoysBaseballCaps.com" It has to be something that concerns the population at large, and not be something you could go just go buy at Walmart.

    Thanks, and good luck!

You can opt for free domain providers like blogger.com,co.cc and .tk extensions. and register good names and sell them. :D
