HI. I just wanted to see what kind of experiences you people have had with dealing with SEO and link building companies or individuals that has done work for you. From my experience, most of the time the first month goes well after promising the world but after that they're just looking to get paid for doing as little as possible. The company that i'm currently using on here, they just go missing for long periods of time and after 5 weeks they still haven't completed a very basic link building package. I'm looking for a company to use as a long lasting work relationship but i'm finding it really hard to get consistant good work and good energy from people. I'm on the verge of using this company seolace . com , anyone have any feedback from these guys? Or any sugestions of good SEO and link building companies who are trustworthy and have energy. Thanks.
Yes I agree with you that its hard to find a SEO person or company that can guarantee results for a long term.
Tell me about it. The company who i've just been dealing with on here took 4 weeks to tell me that they don't do press releases nor article submssions after selling me a package with these services in. If they had told me i wouldn't have minded so much but they just decided to ignore me. Is it really this hard to find someone reliable or are you guys keeping these people / companies to yourselves? ;-)
I haven't heard that one... you can ask for a trial on those company and if you like you can continue...

Yes i think you should always ask for trial before opting. Also if the companies or seo providers's site is not ranking in top for their keywords they cannot rank your site, this is an simple logic right ?
People need Instant results..Seo is not a 2 minute noodle and patience is required..If instant result is needed seek a PPC campaign. Another problem is - highly competitive keyword which needs strong and contexual link building campaign that majority in India (may be elsewhere) who claim they are seo gurus by linkbuilding from bookmarking list and spammy sources. One more problem is people approach when they practice all bullshit seo on their site and get banned...
Exactly. People think we can hire seo expert get our site rank in 2 months thats it. To rank for a tough keyword you need some top quality contextual links. And what i have seen is many indian keywords can be ranked easily. People should know about links quality and seo else they will be fooled too easily.You cannot solely depend on your seo expert. Also make sure your seo provider is getting good links which are relative to your site theme. And not crappy links like blog comments,forum links,directory submission etc.
Thanks guys. The sites and keywords that i needed the link building for where not tough keywords, just needed a legup. We live and learn by our mistakes. This is one of the reasons i started this thread, i'm looking for someone who knows for sure through personal experience a good SEO company or individual. These guys are ranked #1 seolace . com so i might give these guys a go next.

I would also suggest you to take help of Google Analytics to pin-point your potential market as from my experience found it very useful. being ranked #1 seolace.com may or may not guarantee that they would be lucky for you as well. It is you who knows your market better..Identify.. Geo Targets as well if your buyers are in UK ..

I'm an SEO researcher and I hired an "SEO guy" just for the heck of it and they were retarded. Kept on trying to sell me blackhat link building techniques. Ugh.
