    Big step up from NPP. Much more organized. Lots of code hints(they come up without extra keys). Definitely worth to try. I also use .net and netbeans is definitely superior to .net(too bad it can't do it too).

    Ya Netbeans is the best IDE and a good competator for Eclipse. Its really good.

    Eclipse seems better for Java. It also seemed very cumbersome for php.

    Has anyone used Zend Studio for Eclipse? Its amazing - highly recommended, I disliked netbeans myself.

    Was using Zend Studio 7.2.1 here.. the older versions was better.. So now i just use notepad++

    Yes there is, i now use " phpDesigner ". It is the best i have ever used.
