I am amazed at how little DP moderators do about all of the thieves and scammers on this forum. My account is flooded with negative itrader from thieves who give me negative itrader as retaliation to itrader I left them. I report every one of those unjust itraders and nothing is ever done about it. What am I supposed to do about the people who steal from me on this forum? It seems itrader is setup for that so that people can warn other users. As a result of me warning other users, my own account is screwed over. What gives? Meanwhile the thieves get to continuing using DP and ripping off more people. Doesn't DP care about it's reputation and user protection?
"iTrader is an un-moderated area" and "you do business at your own risk here". Anyway, Shawn is trying a new iTrader system which will allow people to give iTraders only after the transaction is made (e.g. Instant Pay With PayPal). Hopefully things like this will stop then.
Itrader is an un moderated area but Shawn should allow the profile owners to have a ON/OFF button to receive itraders. That will be a great way to stop negative reputation for the reputed members. Whenever you deal with a person you switch ON itrader mode and get an itrader and then again switch it off
There needs to be more to the system than that. Most of my itraders are from people I've done business with, but they have ripped me off. There needs to be some way to deal with that kind of abuse. Just as I was waiting for a response to this thread another thief pulled the negative itrader bs. They steal your money and then spit in your face after. This is a major problem on DP and is why it is considered a 2nd rate forum. It is known for it's shady members.
Lol, I'm sorry but that's ridiculous that you dare say that your getting bad itraders because people are scamming you. If you take a look at my itrader then you'll see I've been doing business for yrs here and I remain at 100 positive. I'm sure I'm bound to get one or two but big deal. You have 37 negative itraders. So basically you are saying that no one has scammed myself but for some strange reason you are randomly targeted 37 times. Right now your credability is not very good and you seem extremely shady. If it was a couple then fine, but 37 people claim you are the scammer. You gotta think to yourself after how many people point a finger, when should you start thinking they may be right.
Lacey why are you attacking me? I admit I have a ton of negative itrader, but if you look into them, almost all of them are from people who I first gave negative itrader too. People obviously do different kinds of business on here and some would be more susceptible to scams. Also some people are more careful to later verify that they are still getting what they paid for. Just because you don't have negative itrader, do you honestly think that means there must not be any scammers on here? I envy you that you have been lucky enough to avoid the shady side of this forum. I just don't understand why you would come attack me. This is exactly why I am complaining about this itrader system, because it empowers the scammers to ruin the reputation of longstanding members like myself. By the way, I have 19 negative itrader, not 37. Learn how to read the stats.
Well having a few can happen, but a bunch like your itrader account shows red flags. Other than all scammers are in an alliance and target you, what kind of a defense could you have. Anyway, don't sweat it because the itrader system is going to be changes soon anyway.
Are you done judging me yet?? I am so sorry that I don't have a spotless record like queen lacey. I've just done a lot of outsourcing over the last couple of years and there are a lot of shady freelancers who don't deliver what they promise. The same goes for link sellers who don't keep up links. Anyways, I don't need to defend myself to you. I suggest you keep your biased opinions to yourself.

Why not have a separate section to cover fraud and scams.....seems to be enough bad stuff around to warrant this and it would help warn others plus keep the scammers at bay if there is good publicity. Any scam or fraud published would need to have documentary proof supplied.
What about deals happening out of DP Just a thought as some services don't come with instant pay option, Hopefully Shawn considers this. -S
He won't do this job because most of Pakistani members here don't have any Paypal account and they use Money Bookers . Don't forget DP is ranked 30 in Pakistan. Good luck
