I rather hire someone to do this. I am looking for something that I could put out some money and get members in return. I like the idea of Xrumer.

Xrumer is just another tool to annoy Internet users . It will be as beneficial as the pop-up ads .

The whole forum looks so dull and plain, no wonder no one wants to go to your site.

Splash pages are useless. Why not use something like MyCMS from Nickman?

The intro page is needed because of some directory problems on my hosting. I have grayhatworld setup as my main domain.

Your backlinks have dropped from the 3000 you mention to less than 400.
    The site is extremely boring.
What page of google search are you on?

What the hell are you telling me it is extremely boring if your not going to suggest changes?

For what phrase are you talking about? or do you mean the Page Rank?

i would prefer that you focus on the content of your website because that is the only way to nurture organic traffic.

Yeah, I've been doing keyword research to find keywords related to my site with low competition, and searches over 100+ monthly exact then writing a tutorial and doing backlinking to the page. :)

Back links are very helpful if they are placed in the right place and it would be useless if they are place in the wrong place. what i am saying is if you have 3000 back links and most them are placed in none related niches then you are attracting visitors who are not interested in your forum in the first place. The key to organic activity in your forum is attracting visitors who are interested in the topic that your are trying to cater.

The biggest incentive for people to post is having an active forum to post in, it's as simple as that (although it's difficult to do in practice).

I will always prefer organic search. That is the best way to get traffics. You can use Facebook , Twitter to get some traffic as well.
