    Is .pdf page content taken into account by search engines?

    Can Google for example 'read' the content of a .pdf page?

    no donot think so , if they taken it most ebooks written in pdf will be free on search engines , only reason to pdf is to avoid peoples to copy your contents

    its possible if u have lot of backlinks pointed to tht ebook
    if its very popular for sure it can appear, ive seen few pdf files though in search engines.

    You think wrong, there are tons of pdf and doc archives available through major search engines, which btw provide surfers with an html version of such documents :rolleyes:

    Not sure that the only reason to pdf is to stop copying content, cause you can!!

    .pdf's get indexed and even get PR!!

    So can Google see what is inside, content wise?
